The last Scmemptation of Schmrist.
Um. The last entry I made was a little more than a month ago.
A bunch of stuff has happened since then (man, how general is that?), including, but not limited to, the release of my second album, my 23rd B-day, a move to Seattle, a job hunt (that will hopefully come to an end tomorrow), and various milkshakes.
Tonight, however, I went to a bar with my roommate Dave, and we drank and discussed the current Evolution vs. Intelligent Design debate. I discovered two things (you didn't think that my first entry in a while would NOT include a list?)
1. Dave is an obstinate, and often disorientingly illogical discussion partner. For all of those who may know him, please do not get into intense conversations with him. He does not make points, but rather jumps from one recycled (and badly thought out) idea to another without listening or considering what you've said. (Oh, scathing, non? Not really. I'm just a bit miffed at the moment.)
2. Popular notions of science have NOTHING to do with what science is really attempting to get at. One more reason why I need to be science teacher.
Several beers, several realizations. My life is evolving just as it should.
