Yay shiney! AKA How to ruin acoustic resonance
Ok so heres something amazing ive been wanting to try since last christmas, but have only had the time to waste to try it now exams are over.
As you may know my banjo has a clear head on it so you can see inside, i think it looks really cool. Especially since its electro-acoustic so theres electronics in there. Now though ive taken it a bit further. Some may call it a step too far. I think they might be right.
Here for your amusement and awe is a banjo filled with tinsel
Its not lost any volume but definately sounds more dull, however before the tinsel and definately with new strings it was teeth-shatteringly bright. Dont know if the pick-up works with it in, and its unlikely to stay in long enough to find out.
