Washington Cosplay Picnic
Alright! This is the last call for the cosplay picnic I'm holding in Spanaway. :) Just having a final check on who's coming, and what's being brought.
INFO:
Who: Cosplayers and fans of Axis Powers Hetalia
What: Picnic/Meet-up
Where: Spanaway Park in Spanaway, WA // Large blue building by the boat launch and docks at the South entrance
When: July 3rd, 12/Noon until park closing [Dusk; 9-9:30pm-ish?]
Cosplaying is expected, but if you can't, you can't. This will be a picnic/potluck-type gathering, so be sure to bring some food or other items along!
Food items: Please try and bring food from the country you are cosplaying as. If this cannot be possible, just try and bring any food along (chips, drinks, etc) that DOES NOT need to be heated at the site. There is no way we can reheat or cook any food at this building. Also! You may bring your own drinks, since everyone has a different preference. Also, items such as cups and napkins will be needed! Please try and bring some along!
Since this will be kind of a party for Canada and America's birthdays, I'll be bringing along a US flag cake. If someone wants to bring a Canadian flag cake, that's fine. <3
Activities: Depends on the weather, but I have plenty of games planned out. Also, there may be a competition during the games! Prizes made by me will be given to winning teams. There is also a lake right by our meeting place, but some cosplays could be ruined if we go in; but hey, there's a beach we can hang out on, too. <3
Important/Other: As stated before, we will be meeting up at the large blue building by the boat launch and the docks at the south entrance of the park [158th/Park Avenue off Pacific Avenue, I believe] at noon on the 3rd of July. There is a parking lot right by our meet-up spot, too. I'll be in cosplay as America, so I'll be pretty noticeable. Also, I'll be at the meet-up spot around 10 or 11am to set up. If you would like to join and help out, that would be just fine. <3 If anyone needs a map or pictures of where we'll be, I can supply those as well.
Photoshoots: Our photographer will be chikokuda by the way. She may pull us off to the side some time during the picnic to have photoshoots, as well as taking pictures throughout the day.
If you plan FOR SURE on tagging along, please comment here. Also comment on who you'll be cosplaying as, what items you're bringing, and how many people you're going to be bringing along, if you are.
