Leave a comment and I will come up with your muse's and my muse's kid. I'm equal opportunity -- adoption counts just as much as organically produced babies (or even surrogacy!). Of course, this is just for fun's sake only, so none of these kids are actually binding to anything. If your muse is in a 'verse with mine, feel free to request a kid from ( Read more... )

Maybe it was the atmosphere, or the welcoming drinks they had upon arriving, or even the full body scans that seemed a bit different, but they didn't mind with all the laughter. Whatever it was it had done something entirely different to the two of them. Giggling madly Rose pressed a direct kiss to his mouth, the two of them dissolving into laughter.

"Well this place certainly is welcoming to us, yeah?"

The Doctor laughed, "Weelll... I think it's the atmosphere."

Giggling Rose nodded leaning into the Doctor as they made their way back to the TARDIS, "Or that drink! That drink made you exceptionally friendly."

Nodding the Doctor turned the corner and came to a dead halt, Rose bumping up against his back at the sudden movement, which of course made her break into laughter once more. Then a smaller quieter bit of laughter came from ahead of the Doctor and Rose stopped, peering around the arm of the Doctor.

"What... s'that?"

"That... Rose Tyler is a child."

"Well I can see that, but what's it doin' waitin' in front of the TARDIS."

The little boy had blonde hair sticking straight up in the front, a cowlick that looked a bit too familiar. "He looks... sorta," Rose tilted her head at the little boy watching the small boy purse his lips at her, "Familiar."

"Yeeaaah... bit," the Doctor agreed. Kneeling down the Doctor met the eyes of the little boy studying him just as much as the little boy was studying the Doctor.

"Got any chips?"

The Doctor raised an eyebrow glancing back to Rose as he grabbed his Sonic Screwdriver from his pocket. Twisting the base of it he turned it on and pointed it to the boy, then paused and turned and pointed it at Rose.

"What are you doin' with that?"

Putting the Sonic Screwdriver down he pulled his specs from his inner pocket putting them on and glancing back to the little boy.

"Weell??"

Rose raised an eyebrow glancing to the boy that echoed what the Doctor usually said, "That's bit eerie to hear."

"He's ours."

"What?"

"Those scans? The full body ones? Apparently... they were also doin' a bit of genetic sequencing. Really need to make a notation about these planets that clone people."

"What?"

"Maybe a small subset of maps, or a planetary marking system. Sort of a little double helix with a big red x over them. Course then I might get confused and think it meant there was no genetic cloning going on."

"What?"

"Or I could just start labeling them with GMaCDoG... Genetic Manipulation and Cloning Devices on Ground, bit long, but who doesn't love a good acronym!"

"Doctor! What do you mean... he's ours?"

"Mean, they scanned, they sampled and ta-da! Little blonde haired, brown eyed completely brilliant little boy! Bit of you, and bit of me. Sort of interesting to see... mean we don't have babies this way, we Loom them."

Rose nearly had to choke back a laugh at the way his accent hit the word Loom, but still she was trying to wrap her head around the entire thing. "So what are we gonna do with him?"

Shrugging the Doctor stood up, putting his hand on the little kids shoulder, "Name him?"

Rose rolled her eyes, and sighed, "So he's comin' with us?"

Pouting the Doctor looked at Rose, "He's ours Rose, look at him with his great blonde hair and those big brown eyes? Can't we keep him?"

Shaking her head Rose laughed, "Fine! We'll bring him along!"
