A hand pressed to her forehead for a moment, bangs shifting out of her eyes as she leaned against the edge of her bed. For the past twenty minutes she'd been on her hands and knees trying to track down the darn thing. Exhaling slightly exhausted she rand her hand over the top of her head focusing on the strands of her hair that fell back into her eyes before trying to blow them out of the way with another huff of air. Scratching at the back of her head she shifted to lean against the bed, drawing her knees up to rest her arm across the tops of them.
~click "Rose. Find it yet?" ~click
Sighing she put her hand to her cheek cradling it as she shut her eyes. It'd been over an hour since she saw it dart through the hall and fifteen minutes since she swore it scurried into her room. "Can't you use the TARDIS internal sensors or something? Track it down and get some forcefield 'round it and I don't know... keep it there?"
~click "What? I didn't hear you." ~click
Inhaling sharply she narrowed her gaze, "I know you heard me and just because you picked up those police radios last week doesn't mean we have to use them all the time. The whole ship is set up with a perfectly well working communication system. We've been using it for years."
~click "Oh come on Rose! Just one more time?" ~click
Reaching across to the night stand Rose picked up the CB and clicked it on, "You say it like you'll stop at the end of this."
~click "Maybe I will, you never know unless you humor me Rose." ~click
Pressing down to talk again she smirked, "Swear you're more trouble to keep happy than the fuzzball, which I've yet to find."
~click "Keep looking, the TARDIS scanners show that it's in your room somewhere." ~click
"Oh now you're using the scanners to track it down?"
~click "Yep." ~click
Rose set the CB back down and got back onto her hands and knees peering underneath the bed for a moment when she saw something move. Her hand reached for it but of course it darted away from the movement, but still stayed under the bed. Pursing her lips for a moment she stood up tugging at the legs of her jeans so they fit better. Moving around her room Rose opened up a small box on her dresser and pulled out a wafer cookie before returning to the side of her bed. Dropping back down to her knees she showed the furry creature the cookie before breaking off a piece and eating it herself. With another piece broken off she set it down beside her on the floor and moved to sit down. Logically she figured the thing would want to eat and emerge from it's hiding space.
After a few moments sure enough there was a small brown furball of a creature at her side eating at the cookie. Sighing a breath of relief Rose reached for the CB and pressed to talk, "Managed to lure it out from under the bed."
~click "Rose! You're using the CB!" ~click
"Yeah yeah, so look," Rose pauses to glance down at the furry thing and pauses for a moment. "Doctor? We might have a problem."
~click "What sort of problem" ~click
Without even using the radio again Rose shook her head and chewed on her bottom lip, "Well there was just one... but there seem to be... well five of the- six of them now."
"How did you lure it out??"
Furrowing her brow Rose was now seated with a lap full of the small furry creatures, "Gave it a bit of a wafer cookie?"
"You fed it?"
"Course I fed it! It's a living thing!"
"Rose. You never, ever feed Tribbles."
