(no subject)
After the museum, went with Harry and like a bunch of us to spend a day at the Huntington Park. It's just a park... but we were there for nearly 5 hours and it must be the MOST relaxing day I've had in recent memories. Seriously. The trees, the water, the sky, the clouds, the kids, the people, the squirrels, the dogs. It all added up into this distant evening that faded along with the clear skies into tall shadows and cold grass.
Thai restaurant with buy 2 get 1 free Heinekens and then the karaoke joint again. They sang for 3 hours... I slept for 2 while bunched in between. Haven't felt so good in such a long time.. sleep seemed to have caught up to me while listening to amature karaoke junkies.
Invite to beach house party in two weeks. Haven't been to one in ages.
Back to work tomorrow.
