Info. What would it take, for things to be quiet, quiet like the snow. And I know this isn't much but... I know I could be better. I don't think I deserve it, selflessness. Find your way into my heart. All stars could be brighter. All hearts could be warmer. Are we meant to be empty handed? Don't think about chances we're taking. Stevie and Shaun went on for days back and forth trying to get one another into bed. If they were to watch their strategies and failed attempts, they would so laugh at themselves. Shaun would pout his lips with half-lidded eyes while Stevie would swing his hips a little extra while he walked, Shaun would wear super skinny jeans that showed off his butt, and Stevie would wear skin tight shirts all the time. They were trying so hard to make each other want to cave, but neither one wanted to budge.
They didn't try to seriously seduce each other until the second week. Stevie would stroke his boyfriends arms lightly with his fingertips. Shaun would breathe lightly in Stevie's ear before they went to bed. Stevie would sleep in the nude every single night. Shaun would also sleep in the nude and try his very best not to press his body up against his boyfriend's.
It was a very difficult task, and Stevie was starting to think that Shaun really wasn't going to give in.
"It's been 19 days, Stevie. Can we call a truce? Please. We've tried everything and nothing has worked. It's a sign, don't you think? We should just call it even and have sex. I just want to- and I know you do too."
Stevie smirked and took out his second lollipop of the day. Sour apple; Shaun's favorite. He bought all of Shaun's favorites on purpose. He got way too much enjoyment out of it.
"A bet is a bet, Shaun. If you want to surrender that's up to you. That just means that I get to do whatever I want to you. Or with you, depending on what I choose to do." He said, unwrapping his treat and licking it up and down.
Shaun huffed and sighed. "No Stevie, I am not surrendering to you. I just thought you wanted to call it quits I mean, I see the way you look at me like I'm a piece of meat. But fine, the bet is still on. And you can lick that round little piece of crap all you want and it's not gonna effect me. You just wish it was my di-"
"Shaun! How dare you," Stevie gasped sarcastically. "I am enjoying this very much. Not just the lollipop- I mean everything. I've never seen this side of you before. I kinda like it."
The older teen crossed his arms. And he soon unfolded them after an amazing idea popped into his brilliant head. "You like it when I talk dirty, don't you?"
Stevie shook his head, clearly lying. "Mhm, you do, I can tell, I know you, Stevie." Shaun bit his lip as he tried to corner his boyfriend. "You do wish that was my dick in your mouth," he grabbed the white stick from Stevie's lips and kissed the sugary sweetness off. "You want my lips on your skin, my tongue down your throat and my hands all over your body."
Stevie blinked after a long stare. "Uh...no?" He whispered because he couldn't speak normally. Not even if he tried.
"It's too bad that we have this stupid bet going on for so long now. 'Cause I really, really miss touchin' you. And I know you miss touchin' me too," he slowly bent down so he was on his knees. He looked up at Stevie and put his hand on his belly. "Come on baby, let me..." he couldn't touch Stevie below the belt- that was against the rules.
The younger teen closed his eyes for a moment. "Ugh, Shaun, stop. I should have made this a rule."
"Oh, but you didn't. I can talk for hours about how I want to touch you and how much I would love to fuck you anywhere in this house or outside or somewhere else, anywhere else. All you have to do is say the word and I will. Please? Pretty please with caramel and chocolate syrup on top with whipped cream and a nice big cherry? That sounds nice doesn't it? I could put some on you and you can put some on me and we can eat it off of each other, huh? Let's do that..."
Stevie stole back his lollipop and hoisted his boyfriend off of the floor. "No. Sorry angel. Not gonna work. You kinda almost had me there. But now I just want ice cream."
Shaun's mouth hung open in defeat. He thought he was getting laid and all he was getting out of it was a lousy bowl of ice cream.
"Stevie!" He whined. "I hate you! If you don't have sex with me today I will...I'll...have sex with someone else!"
Stevie only laughed- he couldn't take Shaun seriously. "Oh Shaun you poor, poor sexually frustrated boy. Why don't you come upstairs with me?" Stevie said, throwing his candy in the trash.
Shaun's eyes lit up and he nodded. He was so glad that Stevie finally changed his mind. Shaun knew that he would get his way. He thought the bet was a good idea until he knew he couldn't do it anymore. This way they both win, and they get to have amazing sex.
He followed Stevie upstairs to his room and he pushed him backwards onto his bed. He wrapped his arms around the small boy and kissed him until he couldn't feel his lips anymore. He wanted him so badly, he didn't care about anything else in the world except for what was happening at that very moment.
Stevie took off his shirt and soon went after Shaun's, sucking lightly at the soft skin on his milk white chest. "Stevie," Shaun moaned, not wanting to be teased any longer. The passed two and a half weeks had been enough of a tease for him. "Touch me," he begged, lifting up one of his legs to rub against Stevie's.
Stevie bit his lip and put his hands on his boyfriends' belt. "Can't," he breathed. "...against the rules."
Shaun furrowed his eyebrows. "You said-"
"I never said the bet was off. I said come with me upstairs. Two totally different meanings," Stevie said earning a loud whine from his lover.
"Not fair. You've got me half naked and now I'm hard as a rock you can't just leave me like this...you wouldn't. Would you?"
Stevie shrugged his shoulders. "Well baby, that's all up to you. You can either go in my bathroom for a while or...you can say 'Stevie you win,' and we can end this right now. Your call."
The younger teen was astonished when the older teen grunted and got up from his lying position. He went into the bathroom and slammed the door shut.
Shaun didn't realize how persistent he could be. All he knew was that he wanted to win the bet even though it was stupid; because he wanted to be able to have Stevie in a way that he never got to have him before. There was something exhilarating and exciting about it; something neither of the boys could put their fingers on. But they both wanted it, and they both weren't going to give up.
Shaun emerged from the bathroom a few minutes after he had entered it. Stevie was fully clothed much to his disappointment. He loved to look at Stevie's body, even if he was thinner than usual.
"If you want to play that way then I will too. Not right now though because I...have to wait a little while. But just be prepared. You, you meany head. I can't believe you really did that to me."
Stevie patted the bed so his boyfriend would hopefully sit next to him. "I'm sorry, Shaun. I know how bad we both want to let go and forget about the bet. But it's thrilling, isn't it? We've been on each other like white on rice these passed few days, it's nice. I think anyway. I'm having fun with it."
Shaun sat down and leaned his head on Stevie's shoulder. "Yeah, you're right. It is fun. It would be more fun if you could fuck me, but that will happen...shortly. According to what I have planned, that is."
Stevie kissed the top of Shaun's head. "Oh you've got a master plan now, is that right. Well good; that gives me incentive to come up with one of my own. And just to put it out there saying the bet is over with your fingers or toes crossed is cheating, no good, got it?"
Shaun nodded. "I may not like all the rules but I will play fair. Scouts honor."
Stevie chuckled. "Oh Shaun we both know you never were a boyscout..."
~
Micah hated the end of the fall season; for some reason criminals who needed defending always called him for representation. He wasn't the best, he wasn't special, and he certainly didn't take all of the cases that were presented to him, but he was definitely in high demand.
He assumed that his boss had something to do with it. Destiny probably figured that he needed the money and made sure that he always had a surplus of clients that were directed towards him. He was a good lawyer, a damn good lawyer, and he deserved them.
But he didn't like being so busy. He hated being away from Jack more than he already was. So he decided that he'd split all of his cases with Vanessa. He didn't exactly care for her, but she would defend absolutely anyone, no matter what. She was a plea bargain whore. She was convenient. She didn't know this yet, but she would when Micah made his way to work.
"Jack, you've been sleeping so much lately," Micah whispered to his lover's sleeping form. "You've really been worrying me, sweetheart. I feel...I feel like you might be slipping away from me. But you're not; I know you're not. I want you to wake up stronger than ever, okay? I love you. I'll be back before you know it."
He placed a long loving kiss to Jack's forehead. He woke up early to make Jack a nice breakfast that was all ready to heat up in the microwave. He wanted to make him lunch as well but Jack rarely ate lunch anymore. He ate like a bird.
Micah took his time getting to work. He loved his job, but he always liked to drive slow. He had a fear of car accidents. Not for any particular reason; he was 27 years old and had never been in one. And he didn't want to ruin his perfect driving record. So he drove the posted speed limit at all times. Being late wouldn't get him fired anyway.
"Hey Mr. Walker you have someone on hold- I mean I put them on hold for you I knew you'd be here any second. If you want I can tell them to call back?" Micah didn't have an assistant, but if he wasn't at his desk someone usually answered his phone for him.
"No it's alright, thank you Paula. I'll grab it now."
He placed his briefcase on his big wooden desk and pressed 2 on his phone.
"Hello this is Micah Walker speaking."
"Hi, yes. My name is Remy Bishop. I know you're not a child custody lawyer but I was hoping you could refer me to one? I have your contact from my neighbor whom you've represented before. I don't care how much the rate is, I just need a good lawyer. I can't lose my baby."
Micah nodded and looked through his papers for his friend who could help this lady out. He could imagine the situation she was in. Her boyfriend or husband beat her and or raped her. He probably had made her look like an unfit mother and wants full custody of the kid. Sad world people live in some days.
"The lawyer I'm referring you to, her name is Carolyn Peirce and her number is 516-997-2466. Good luck with your case Ms. Bishop."
"Thank you so much Mr. Walker."
Micah hung up and sighed. Sometimes he wished he had a different profession. Or less depressing cases. If he was an environmental lawyer there would be no depressing cases. But it would be less rewarding. Life isn't fair sometimes.
He felt like it would be a long day.
Jack woke up because of a knock at the door. He was confused; nobody ever came to the house. The only person that it could be was Micah, and he wouldn't knock.
Jack was a little apprehensive about answering the door, but he figured no one that's that dangerous would waste time actually knocking on a 'victims' door. So he opened it. And he could have fainted by what he saw.
"Oh my god. I must have the wrong address-"
"No, Ian. It's me. Jack. I-I, W-What are you doing here? How...how did you get here how did you find me?" Jack was fully alert, eyes wide open and his heart fluttering. His
baby brother. who he hadn't seen in years was at his door.
"It is? It's really you, Jack?" He asked in a small voice.
"Of course! I'm sorry Ian I know I look like a stranger but I'm not. Won't you come in?" Jack said, pulling his brother's arm lightly so that he could come inside.
He was a small boy, he was nothing like Jack. Jack was over 6 foot. Ian was going to be average sized, or maybe even short for a guy. But his appearance was not what was intriguing Jack, it was the fact that he was actually there.
"Here sit down, sorry my blankets are everywhere, I was napping. I- I know I look different than when m- when I left." He was going to say 'when mom and dad kicked me out' but his brother never knew about that.
"You do look different. You're bald. And real tall. And real thin. And-"
Jack tried to mask his teary eyes. "I know kiddo, I look like hell. But...seriously how did you find me? How did you get here? You couldn't have driven, you're not old enough right? Ian...how old are you now?"
His brother just stared at him. "15, Jack. I was 10 when you left, remember? And Lily was 6. So she's 11 now. Are... you okay?"
If only Ian knew the half of it.
"I'm...fine. Does...does mom know you're here? Shouldn't you be home after school?"
Ian shrugged. "She thinks I'm at a friends' house. But I don't care. Jack I needed to see you. Mom said you were never coming back...I didn't believe her. But it's true. You really did just leave."
Jack shook his head. "It's very hard to explain. Especially to you. You were young when...when everything happened and it's a long story. I'm just so glad that you're here."
"I hired a P.I, Jack. Only to find out you're 45 minutes away from home. Do you know how hard it was for me to find a P.I to work for a minor? I made up some sob story of how I needed to find my big brother. He found you, and here I am. I just...I can't wrap my head around any of this. Why I haven't seen you since I was 10 years old and why I can't even recognize you?"
Jack furrowed his eyebrows. "You hired a privet investigator to find me? Ian you're crazy. I'll compensate you your money. I'm sorry that you had to go through all of this. Look, like I said it's really complicated. But mom had to of told you something?"
Ian nodded, and sat down on the couch opposite his brother. "Yeah, lies. That's what she told me. That's why I'm here, Jack. I want the truth."
Jack bit down on his lip. "Mom probably told you I was terrible. You know...I thought that she might have told you bad things about me but now I'm second guessing she told you anything at all. She just said I ran away, right?"
"More or less. She said that you were gone and that you didn't care about your family. But see I knew that you loved us, Jack. Especially Lily and I. What happened? What did mom do to you? And why didn't you ever call? I thought...I thought maybe you were dead."
Jack looked up towards the ceiling. "God, Ian, I'm so sorry. But I couldn't call. Do you have someone picking you up or something? Because it's going to take a while to explain."
Ian gave his brother a very small smile. "I have all the time in the world, Jack. Just tell me everything."
