This is Niana.
My sister came by today to tell me that the place she's moving to doesn't let her have pets but since my place does she thought it'd be best if I kept her so it looks like I have a new pet to take care of. She's really pretty though and nice and independent and not clingy so it doesn't look like I'll have to worry about that too much. Actually right now she's curled up asleep on the couch beside me.
It seems a lot of people are getting pets lately. Maybe the planets are aligned in some sort of way that makes us more affectionate toward animals or something.
