mmmm Windows 7
Hooray for new shiney goodness on my PC...too bad my PC still likes to sound like a truck when it starts. Apparently 'lots of PC's have that problem' although itsn't that what they always say about ... problems.... anyways, its actually just the power supply fan is loose and I just have to smack and rock the tower till it stops, its weird cuz the PC has done that ever since it was new. At least it can be turned off now, it used to restart itself for no reason if it had been turned off when you tried to turn it back on, but that was an out-of-date BIOS or something. This is one of the reason's I have Scott, that and without him I would have no PC... oh yeah that that bit where I love him and would be lost without him... lol.
Anywyas, I LOOOOOOVE Windows 7, mostly everything is just so much easier, like where the downloads get hidden and I don't feel like I need a million shortcuts on my desktop. Although I managed to install Winamp without it showing up on my start menu, lucky for me I told it to open MP3's so I just opened a file and it came up, pinned that sucker to the taskbar, since I am *always* using Winamp anyway. Of course I am to the worst part of any new install, the re-installing everything. So far its not been too painful, I have 64bit Windows now and the downloads are much faster I just have to have the patience to install the stuff thats on CDs UGH! Apart from that I actually like to do a clean install, it clears up lots of crap on my pc... oh ICK, I just realised I need to re-install Visual Studio AND I don't know if we brought the disks... CRAP!
As for my package that came yesterday..... we had a good time while Windows installed ;)
