Oh cool, I forgot moving was stressful

So Scotts gone for 2 weeks... AGAIN..... they better not try to pull this crap when we are in Seattle. So I'm home all alone..... trying not to freak out... its not working real well.

First freak out, I realise that I have to do all the washing thats been piling up... and I mean really piling up.... I am crap at washing so I always get behind. So far I seem to be getting close to my goal and not having Scott around helps, when hes home I am always finding jeans, t-shirts, jocks & socks all around the house. When I'm home alone I tend to go nekkie... so I am not strewing clothes around after me, although there is some clothes of the chair next to me, so if I do need to go to the door or venture outside I have clothes... its really wierd, usually I feel perfectly comfortable nekkie in my own home, but today I think I need to put some clothes on..... dang more washing.....

Don't Fret Pet scared the HELL outta me by sending my first invoice telling me its due by October 2nd, we don't get paid till the 15th, thus I don't have enough money. Its been cleared now, just as long as I pay BEFORE the dogs go its allright..... granted its ONE day, but they said that is okay, so I don't have to freak about that anymore, but I do need to round up the dogs crap.... leads, brushes, toys, bedding... although they don't have any bedding becase Jedi ate it all, I am thinking of sending the bankets Scott and I use when we watch TV, they were not overly expensive and are probably too thin for American Winter.

I rang Jet Pets for Roxie this morning, as I suspected you cannot buy thier containers for $50, I was told that a 'airline approved' crate should cost me $50-$60. I might go to Petstock later and investigate, since it turns out the cat carrier I have isn't airline approved because its held together with plastic clips not metal screws.... it will be interesting to see if the guys at Petstock now thier stuff and know what makes a pet carrier 'airline approved' We can always rent a carrier but I have visions of Roxie biting me at the airport and escaping when we put her from our carrier to the airlines one, cuz it sounds like I don't get acress to the carrier untill I take my pet to the airport. I know that you get the crates in advance for international flights or at least for dogs because you are advised to let your pet get used to the carrier. Anyway, if I buy our own carrier, I would like one a little larger so Roxie can at least stand up of she wants to, because the one we have now is pretty small and I feel bad taking her to the vet in there, let alone a couple hours trip.

Now I have my quote and know when I have to book and pay for this flight so YAY IM FREE!! I know when the lawn guy is coming back to do the lawns one more time, so apart from washing now all I need to do is not go crazy till Scott gets back, because then the scary shit like the movers happens.

It doesn't matter how organised you are, all the really stressful stuff happens in the last few days.

29 days till we leave for Brisbane, then on the 31st....  we fly.

Yeah, its kinda getting exciting now, but also scary as well.

And I worked out why I dont appear excited... its too exhausting to be THAT excited for that long......

Oh and on unrelated business, I have been listening to Robin Skouteris mashups practically non-stop for the last 3 weeks. I LOVE his work, they are the best mash-ups I have ever heard and because he's awesome you can download the songs as MP3's.  His you tube channel is www.youtube.com/user/robinsk
