You probably don't know me, but I too suffer videogame addiction. What game have you been playing? Have you considered the Final Fantasy series? I'd recommend the Ogre series too, but it's no longer released and your best bet would be to find it on emulators.
(( OOC: Quite understandable! And welcome back! I missed your posts :). ))
I do not believe we have met . . . I am not sure. Does this mean that I should not take advice from you? ;)
I am playing the Final Fantasy series now, yes! I am currently playing the ten one. (Though I find it strange that all of these games are the "final" fantasy.) What is Ogre like? By this time I have made some acquaintances at the second-use shop and they may be able to help me to find it.
No, we haven't met. I'm a friend of Ken's from when he was little and had a stuffed dog named Hachi.
Funny story about Final Fantasy; the first one was meant to be the swan song for the company. But then it grew popular and Square kept squeezing more FFs out.
FFX seemed pretty easy to me, but most of the later generation games do. I beat it with just Rikku and her Godhand.
Ogre Battle/Tactics Ogre is... Have you ever played FFTactics, Tactics Advance, or FFXII? Same game design team for all of them, so they all have gameplay that requires forethought and strategy. Story-wise, they're all pretty complex. Nice thing about the Ogre series is that all of the games exist in the same universe and takes place at different points in time. Like, uh... Ogre Battle Gaiden: Prince of Zenobia starts with a young, exiled Tristan, who grows up and goes on to Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen, where the player helps install him on his throne. Tactics Ogre Gaiden: Knight of Lodis stars a character who was previously known as Lancelot (Lans

Ryo has very complex sentence structure and a higher level of diction, and so it takes Mina a few extra minutes of perfectionism to try to parse out what he's telling her.
Ah, you know Ken-san! . . . But would he appreciate you telling me about Hachi? ;)
I am enjoying the game, though people at the store were teasing and I am very afraid that something will happen to Tidus. Now I am tempted to look on the Internet and find out -- and yet I also do not want to know. >.< I am new to games, so I am finding the game challenging. I imagine that they do become much more simple; many things in life seem to have a pattern to them. When one has learned the pattern, they become more simple

It's Koushirou! He's out and about and responding to her post . . . which he's never done before. Mina's fingers flutter over the keyboard as she debates how to respond to an entirely simple statement.
Koushirou-san! I am well, how are you? She erases this; it's too formal and dull. I am well but troubling myself, I fea Revealing too much insecurity. You almost had to send the ninjas for m Too informal.
I am well, yes, although trapped in one of the Final Fantasies. I hope you are well also? I have seen that you have helped Rosa-san . . . everyone must be very busy and worried for her.
I'm afraid I haven't been especially helpful so far, actually. I hope once we gather a few more facts about the Mexico situation I'll be able to provide more assistance.
You helped to clear the picture, yes? I am sure that was very helpful!
I wish I could contribute in some way as well . . . I am concerned.
She pauses. She can't tell from his answer whether or not he's busy lately; should she risk it?
. . . For another subject -- and I know you must be very busy, so please do not worry too much -- would you still be able to help me to install the portal on my computer?
Oh Mina I should have never have really forced you to go in. I'm afraid I'm an enabler! Sora grinned at the thought. I'm glad to hear from you again. We had fun, didn't we? Really we should get together again some time of course... under better circumstances of course. Back to video games though I say it'd be best to go cold turkey instead of gradually quitting. But you know what? If you're happy I think a little bad habit or healthy addiction can't really be terrible, can it?

Not that I am sure that I want -- or could -- stop.
That was fun, though, yes! I would like to again -- and perhaps you can keep me from the store. :)
