I do not think I have ever been so embarrassed.

I have burned the daalYou see, my dormitory has a Western-style kitchen attached to it, and students are permitted to cook a little. I misunderstood the dials and the heat was on too far. What's daal? A type of food that's cooked?

Speaking of cooking...let's just say I'm pleased that my Kaa-san never burned down the house whenever she cooks, which is all the time...! ^^;

I know her cooking's questionable; Hikari knows her cooking's questionable. Problem is, I think her taste buds have been taken out long ago. ^^;;

It is a very thick, spicy stew made from lentils (I think this is the word!) without shells. It is very, very good, and one item that I miss very much from home.

Your mother cooks all the time, or she nearly burns down the house all the time? o.o

Ahh-wish I could taste it once to find out what it's like.

...Actually, she cooks all the time, I'm surprised that she hasn't repeatedly burned down the house! o.o;;

Ah, are you giving me bait, Taichi-san? >.> If there is an Indian restaurant nearby, I will treat you to some daal, how is that? In truth, I am very much wanting to be away from the dormitory for a little while, and I cannot bear to go near to that kitchen for a little while yet. ^^; (Also, I have been here some time, and I still have not yet met anyone at all in person.)

I see about your mother. o.o I . . . am not sure that I have words. My own mother would be quite shocked.
