I was hesitant to explain the nature of the documentary - it hits close to home and I don't want any sympathy replies, just business, which is why I will reply to your lj and not the comm...
In jan of 2004 I was diagnosed with leukemia. I'm in remission and I had a stem cell transplant and everything, but I have been doing a lot of research about what causes leukemia.
I used to dye my hair all funky colors. Purple, red, blue, pink, all of them. And there is staggering new evidence that dying one's hair is LETHAL. And there are no warning labels. People need to know.
So I am still doing research, but I want to do a documentary, michael moore ish type of film about unlabeled hazardous products.
