So the holidays have begun! Yours truly has not accomplished much any of the things she meant to (because she can't find her "to-do" list) but ah well, I'll do it- eventually*!
Went to watch
Sky High with Shree, Sneha, Vani and teh Sister today.
By the way, Sneha, you were asking for examples of funny parts of the film, check
this out. Well, I found them funny anyway. (And yes, I'll admit, I did check imdb!)
I didn't pay the film much attention at all when it first came out, and when I did notice it I was quite apprehensive because 1) It's a Disney film, which usually means sugar overdose, and 2) it looked kinda cheap (Yes, so I'm superficial and judgmental.) but it's really a fun and happy film that still manages to stay real.
Nice acting by all the kids, not overdone, and the script is funny without being dirty, besides the usual dunking-heads-into-toilet-bowls which seem mandatory in films featuring American high schools? I wouldn't know the reality, of course...
And this is just priceless:
An exasperated Principal Powers: I'm not Wonder Woman, you know.
(
Lynda Carter, who plays the Principal, also played Wonder Woman xD
<333 Teh geekdom, though I have not watched the Wonder Woman films.)
Took a few photos today, mostly just to capture all the GoF decorations I could, they can be found
here.
Saw the trailer for GoF, suffice to say that I am very, very excited, and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe looks AMAZING AND BEAUTIFUL ASLAN ASDK:MVPD;. <333
Also, a bunch of photos (61) taken on the last day of school,
here. If you're looking for melancholic faces and evocative shots of the school compound, am afraid you're not going to find them there, for I have but the emotional range of a teaspoon*. But if you want to see rubbish heaps and swords, step right up, sir (or ma'am).
*Cookies for you if you can guess where I'm quoting from, unfortunately it's not my French textbook. *le Sigh* OCHIE, you are NOT included. <33
