1. Favorite childhood book?
There are a lot of these...I guess The Baby Sitter Club books...
2. What are you reading right now?
I'm reading all Sherlock Holmes stories :)
3. What books do you have on request at the library?
Nothing at the moment..I usually buy books, I love to keep them in my collection.
4. Bad book habit?
I read a book until the last page even if I don't like them. I start a book, I finish it. That's my bad habit because sometimes it's not pretty..if the book is boring I read it anyway.
5. What do you currently have checked out at the library?
Nothing...my library has a weird system. You have to know the book you wanna read and type it on the computer while I LOVE to browse through books and choose the one that inspires so sadly, my library doesn't appeal to me that much.
6. Do you have an e-reader?
Nope, I don't. I like real books :)
7. Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once?
Usually one at a time but there were times when I read more books at the same time because maybe one book was too intense and I needed another one to switch moods.
8. Have your reading habits changed since starting a blog?
No, nothing's changed at all. Maybe making icons takes away a lot of my free time so reading's a bit sacrificed but I read pretty fast so no real damage there.
9. Least favourite book you read this year (so far)?
Uhm...so far I didn't read a book that I found to be horrible. I don't have a least favorite for now.
10. Favorite book you've read this year?
Uhm...this is quite hard. I have no idea...I've read Sissi's biography which was so beautiful, so touching.
11. How often do you read out of your comfort zone?
I've been doing that a lot lately. I'm reading mystery novels and I've never done that before. It's a very nice experiment.
12. What is your reading comfort zone?
CLASSICS. There's nothing like them.
13. Can you read on the bus?
No, I might throw up...LOL
14. Favorite place to read?
My boyfriend's couch. It's so soft and I love reading there with his cat by my side.
15. What is your policy on book lending?
Uhm, I have to trust that person with my book. I'm very possessive about my stuff, especially my books and I can only lend them to book-lovers cause I know they'll treat them right.
16. Do you ever dog-ear books?
When I was little. Now I don't anymore..I have lots of bookmarks I picked up on foreign cities' museums so I'm all set.
17. Do you ever write in the margins of your books?
NOOOO!
18. Not even with text books?
But those are textbooks, they're meant to be written on LOL
19. What is your favourite language to read in?
Italian, I admit it. Even though English is my life and I read books in English, there's nothing like your first language when it comes to books.
20. What makes you love a book?
Well, I usually love the feelings classics give me. The feeling of heaviness and importance and the pride of reading something deep and meaningful.

CLASSICS, CLASSICS.
23. Genre you rarely read (but wish you did)?

Marie Antoinette's biography. Such a beautiful portrait of a very strong woman. And no, she NEVER said anything about eating cake. Check your facts. I also really loved Sissi's biography and Elizabeth The First biography. I love reading about queens and princesses' lives. It's fascinating and not so wonderful as one may think.

I don't read critics. I am my own critic. If I wanna read a book, I'll read it.
31. How do you feel about giving bad/negative reviews?
I express my opinion but it really doesn't matter. People all have different tastes and standards for what makes a book a great one so I'm not worried about giving reviews..even if I generally don't do that.
32. If you could read in a foreign language, which language would you chose?
I read in Italian of course but also English so I already have my foreign language. I'd choose French probably cause I already know some of it.

Maybe a month...no, that's way too much. Maybe a couple of weeks.
42. Name a book that you could/would not finish.
A weird book about vampires that I thought was cool and instead sucked.
43. What distracts you easily when you're reading?
I hate reading if people in the room have the tv on. It's distracting...also no music.
44. Favorite film adaptation of a novel?
Harry Potter series and Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley.
45. Most disappointing film adaptation?
Uhm..probably the Twilight movies.
46. The most money I've ever spent in the bookstore at one time?
80 euros, which is 98 dollars for all the HP books I was missing. I read most of them through the library but I decided to finally buy the missing books and now I have all the collection, included Quidditch Through The Ages, The Tales of Beedle The Bard and Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them. So proud of all these.

I never do.
