Jun 02, 2014 22:15

Good evening :)
It took me SO long to finish this batch (for my comm btvsats20in20)! I find Buffy screencaps so hard to work with, especially with the coloring and light..It would be amazing to have them in super high quality and high definition ( Read more... )

Great work - you had to finish them on time, didn't you?!!

Although not a Bangel fan these are great - I love your whole Cat Set ... and your NS/Monochrome and fave Moment

Ahaha, I certainly did :)

Thank you so much, I appreciate you commenting even if you don't like Bangel, that's really nice :)

My new rule for 2014 is that I will stop saying "I'm not a fan of (fill in the blank) but...."

Anyway these are simply GORGEOUS. Earth tones just absolutely POPS with that gorgeous, clear, eye-catching blue; love the text work on blending, and all of b/w and ac - they are very strong sets and I love that they work together as individual icons and as units. And the way they GLOW with some sort of internal light, it seems - how do you do that? The b/w ones are very rich in their blacks, which I love.

The fact that you got the creases in Buffy's forehead in bw #5 just has me jazzed.

That's a noble goal!
And thank you so much!!! I'm so happy you like them! I can't take credits for text though, I used a texture cause I'm very bad with text lol
For the glow, I don't do anything special...I just duplicate the layer, go to filter then use Gaussian Blur, set it to soft light and then play around the settings :)

As that is still all greek to me it's pretty special as far as I'm concerned! And even if I did know how to do it, they're no less lovely.

Oh, you'll learn to do it, it's not difficult at all..if you work with photoshop :)

That's the thing I don't work with photoshop.

I've begun using ipiccy recently thanks to kwritten, and there are some similar functions and terminology, so I'm picking up what I can along the way.

A few weeks ago I didn't even know what a texture was, or a light leak. I'm ed-ju-makatin' myself. *lol*
