20 Anastasia/Red Queen Icons
If you don't know this character, she's Anastasia in Once Upon a Time in Wonderlan, that sadly got cancelled. I mean, I understand why (there were definitely some negative factors) but I liked the characters, especially Ana.
The category is very interesting..we had random tarot cards and we have to explain how they inspired us to make the icons...so here's a little explanation under the cat (with the help of the tarot cards description).
Cat1: The Devil
"...people do not do bad things because a force outside them is controlling their actions. They do bad things because the negative part of their own personality is expressing itself..."
"...the Devil is not a force that attacks from without, but a cancer than devours you from within."
In this icon, Anastasia gives in her fear of being no one and having nothing. She abandons Will (the Knave of Hearts) in a cruel way and marries the King of Wonderland, letting her dark side prevail over the sincere love she feels for Will.
Cat 2: Seven Of Cups
"This card generally shows choices and plans that have little or no basis in reality. Such things are typical of the developed imagination, and fine if they stay in the imagination. But when you try to implement those ideas in the real world you are leaving yourself open to inevitable disappointment when you realize that your vision simply does not work."
Anastasia is still dreaming of finding everything she's missing in Wonderland, but the fear of disappointment becomes reality when her mother tells her that she's wasting her time and all that she dreams of is an illusion.

In this icon, Anastasia has already faced her worst fears and she understands who she is now, what she wants, what's really important and so her view of the world around her also changed.
