Lucas is in this phase where everything he plays with, he bangs it on a table or the floor or another toy. It's driving me freakin' batshit. I can't take it anymore. I constantly make him wear his Kids First shirt to remind me that he is precious and special and just a little boy. I don't know how much more I can take before I punch thru a wall.
He gets a new tantrum buster every week. This week, when he doesn't like what we tell him, he pretends to be the Big Bad Wolf and huffs and puffs and tries to blow us down. I wish I were kidding. On one hand, it's better than him throwing a fit, but on the other, it's just stupid, right?
We ended the summer reading program and Lucas won a gift card to WalMart. Yay for him. We haven't spent it yet, tho, as his birthday is coming up next week, and I think we'd rather wait to see what he gets for his birthday. We bought him a really nice art desk, as he is really into drawing lately. He can draw Phineas, Ferb, Candace, Perry the Platypus and Agent P. If you don't know who those people are you are MISSING OUT. Dang that cartoon is just hysterical.
He attended one VBS last week, and is attending another this week. He has a one-day VBS Saturday and then his birthday party is Sunday!! We are, yes, very, very busy in the coming weeks! My baby sister is playing Evita in a production in Terre Haute, so we'll also be attending that soon.
Ok, back to laundry. The only really good thing about laundry is that when I'm folding I sit down to watch movies. I <3 movies. Seriously. I've been watching TONS of them lately. I'll bet
