(no subject)
so i realized last night. while i was laying in bed from 1am-3am unable to fall asleep that it is almost october. it's as though time is creeping up on me. i go about mindlessly to my classes, perhaps to the rec center, and back to my apartment to study daily. so much so that i can't recall off the top of my head the date. i want to appreciate time again.
i've recently adopted the habit.. or perhaps lack there of, of not wearing make-up during the week. i doubt it is in my best interest looks-wise. but i just don't care much anymore. the only time i make the effort to improve my looks anymore seems to be on the weekends (which usually consist of much ryan-time).
i don't say "bless you" when people sneeze. i've never made a habit of it. though i recognize it is polite to do so. when someone sneezes i just go about whatever i was doing as though i was unaware of the sneeze. enough people bless that person, i guess it's not necessary for me to anyhow.
i need a job. i finally got my financial aid refund. but i'm sure it will only last me 2 months max. i don't have work study. though i am on the waiting list. so as alternatives i have applied to: ruby tuesdays, a telephone surveyor job, PJ, a student administrative assistant, Endenu Restaurant, and even as a valet. i need work study.
i really want to make my apartment visitor-friendly. we don't even have a light source in the living room (besides the light from the kitchen.) i want lamps, a tv, wall decor, and perhaps even bar stools. if anyone has any extra of the aforementioned living room decor please let me know if you dont mind me borrowing, or if you know of somewhere i can get these things cheap, that'd be nice of you to point me in the right direction.
went to uga last friday/saturday. it was a lot of fun. ryan and i hung around the dorm for a bit, watching ray, excessively flirting and what not. i finally kicked his ass. then we went to downtown athens and went to a bar, last call, it was indian night so that was fun. we got nice and drunk and walked all the way back to his dorm. good times.
i get to register for next semesters classes soon. i'm excited. and i'm definitely going to make an effort to avoid 8am and 9am classes. because i finished lab (which began at 8am) today at 8:10am. and my next class isn't until 1pm.
i like living near chris. he's just a few minutes away. and though i miss nikki a lot, it's nice to have some one-on-one time with him. plus every so often i run into him on campus, which is really weird. because i'm used to only being allotted certain times to see him. oh boy!
couple of weekends ago. partied it up on top of athina w/ lee, sasha, and jason.
