Ditties of no tone
Last night, I unexpectedly ended up seeing the Go Team. The opening band (the Grates, from Australia) were so much fun, and I fell in love with the lead singer. She was the best dancer these parts have seen in some time. She says "Friends for life and the after life!" The Go Team are a lot more guitar oriented live than on CD. I had a lot of fun dancing with Maria and Sarah and random strangers in the crowd, though.
I picked up my last paycheck from Whole Foods. It was bigger than I thought it would be because, even though it only had one day's worth of work on it, I cashed in my benefit hours and got a small bit of labor surplus. It should be enough to keep me sane until I get another job at ___________.
I really want to go to California. I miss my bestie Shafer like nothing else. I see lots of pictures of her with her California friends and I wish that I could be there with them having so much fun. Why do people have to live so far away from me? I wish all of the people that I were close to could live a short drive away so that I would never have to miss them or feel sad when they are absent. Screw that "absence makes the heart grow fonder" shit. All it does is piss me off.
