Me Converse ^_^
Just have to have a little gush over me new footwear... now I never normaly give a toss about stuff like this (unless I got a pair of NewRocks, but never seen any I really want) but I just had to have a squee over me new Converse ^_~
Now I normaly despise trainers (and that's putting it mildly) but I used to have a pair of blue hi-tops, back when I was 15/16ish in the early 90's, when they were HUGLY unfashionable, but I loved um till they disintegrated and I pulled them apart... so now many, many moons later, I thought sod it, i want some more, (that and the fact the David Tennant/Dr Who wore a pair and the trend has warn off a bit, hell I might be (was) a HUGE DW fan, but I has limits) but anyhow... finaly took up the gall to walk into a Office shoe shop (not somewhere I would normaly be seen, even dead) and got me these ^_^
I've also ordered some black ones with a teal coloured tonge, (cos they was cheep :P) but they havent come yet >_<
but in the mean time, me mother dearist went to Leeds today and bought me home a little pressie ^_^
Double upper High Tops, black and teal, they came with three difrent coloured laces, white, teal and black, but I prefered the teal at the mo and didnt like the look when I put the black ones on too, that and it was imposible to fasten them all ^_^... but omg they is so cool! and the soles are also Teal!
So ya, I've let my inner Rocker chick, then my inner Goth out so I recon it's time my inner Geek made an aperance :P
Doesnt help that about a week before all this I finally took my finger out and finally got some Stargate patches after buying a plain looking gray cloth bag (from Asda of all silly places), I then painted a bit of a Stargate in the front pannle (it could have been better >_<), the black is all done with a marker pen ^_^ the shevrons down the front I got from Wiki, so hope they are right :P but got a bit carried away ^_^ I'll get around to shoving shevrons on the shoulder strap eventualy ^_^
Anyhow, that's my squeeee for the month :P sorry about spelling, going to WoW to kill some hordis :P
