Just another day at the office
I came back for a short visit and ended up mis-timing myself (I'd intended to visit while I was off with Donna, to minimise the chances of paradox) - but I decided to stay for a little while. You lot take all the time you need, Mickey and I've been running Torchwood just fine in your absence. Sorry I didn't let you know sooner that I was here, but the Rift had a spike of activity and now's really the first chance we've gotten since the day I showed up to really do much of anything.
Janet's back, too - and her 'army' is on peace-terms and back where they prefer, so there's no worries on that front. We had a few homicidal aliens, that Slitheen kid (I'm really getting tired of running into him), as well as a few Koravellian traders who'd gotten lost on their way to the Kevlar system.
I need to ask, though, before I do anything else - has anyone told Mum about my death? If not, DON'T. If so, tell me, so I don't end up really freaking her out.
