Enough people dream about yogurt that it has an entry in the dream dictionary.
Haven’t slept well for the past few nights and I’m pretty sure it’s because it ‘s starting to get dark again. The trouble y’see, is that it gets kinda darkish at about 3 am, so that’s when my brain decides it can let me sleep. When it didn’t get dark at all, I managed to sleep. Now that it’s only a little dark a little while, all my internal clocks are off.
And in the hours I do catch some sleep, I dream about realllly boring things. Like shopping for yogurt. And finding every book but the one I’m looking for. How banal is that? I had a whole dream, a dream I remember clearly, and instead of doing something cool, I spent it in the dairy aisle looking for new flavors of yogurt to try. I looked up yogurt in the dream dictionary and it says that yogurt dreams mean I need to adjust my behavior appropriately for the situations I find myself in. It doesn’t tell me the appropriate behavior for sleep-deprivation dreams about yogurt, however.
My poor subconscious. Maybe it's working too hard.
