Wonderful family

So I celebrated my birthday with my family on Saturday. It went quite good. It was hard in that it was the first bigger family celebration without my father, I don't count Christmas since we were still in chock then. Overall though I was very happy with it. I, with the help of my mother, had made a really nice dinner. Starter was a mousse on smoked salmon, then beef wellington and finally a strawberry mousse cake topped with heaps of cream and coconut flakes. The whole family had also gathered for a big present for me. I had wished for a sewing mannequin, but instead I got something that was a lot more expensive. I got my own huskylock overlock machine, or serger. I've wanted one for years and had thougth about starting to save up money after CVI, but now I got it already. I can't wait utnil I have cleaned up my sewing space and can start playing with it. I will force myself to finish the spring cleaning of my apartment before I'm allowed to unpack the machine.

Now only 200 pages left to finish A Game of Thrones before Swedish television starts showing it on Wednesday.
