some progress
So I have ordered quite a few different fabrics lately. Basically everything except the material for the main outer coat. The first batch arrived today, fabric for the lowest part of the sleeve. Now I actually have another fabric on the way for that, but the colour of this fabric perfectly matches the skirt, so I'm thinking this is going to be the one I use. Hopefully the other fabric will arrive soon so I can compare them though. Also on it's way should be the material for the rest of the sleeves and the veil. I'm quite nervous about that though, since I had to order online and there's always a risk of the colours being different in real life. That's also a reason why I'm going to wait until I have all the other fabrics until I decide the colour for the velvet. I think it will be easier when I see how all the other colours interact with each other.
At least I can get some things donw since I've received some meters of velvet ribbon and a lot of mini-beads, so I've started making the beaded ribbons that will go around the front veil drapings.
