css YES
holy holy holy shitballs! so i just got back from the css show in milwaukee. IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING. first of all, each of the three openers were really entertaining. natalie portman’s shaved head were fun (and probably not old enough to drink). i want to take matt and kim to brunch. and the go team were just fucking sweet. so before css even took the stage i was a happy bunny.
anyway, by the time that css was ready to take the stage, we were all standing literally in the second row of people, basically on the stage wall. css came out and started singing the first song off of their new cd, jager yoga. so i was dancing my ass off and singing all of the words. lovefoxxx noticed this and we totally made eye contact and sang to each other. so then she came near us and reached out and grabbed at my hand. she was probably really happy that we a) knew the new song that just came out a week ago and b) were enjoying the new song so much. so yeah, the very first song… yes… i was in and chris and brian were soon to join.
so then they went into the next song, meeting paris hilton. again, we were all dancing our asses off and singing every word. she kept dancing in front of us and looking at us. she sang part of the lyrics to me, something dirty, i forget which one. regardless, i was already ready to piddle my pants. anyway, we just kept singing and dancing and she put the mic in front of my face, then brian’s face, and then chris’s face for the wooo woooooo’s at the end of off the hook. then after that song she was like “what is your name?” and put it right in front of my face. so i was like “matthew”. then she asked brian, and then chris. so she introduced us all to the crowd and said we were awesome. FUCKING YES! so a couple of songs later, she found this little plastic trophy that broke off of this necklace that she was wearing. she picked it up and brought it over to me and gave it to me, hahaha. thennnnn, before they played alcohol she was like, “so matthew, what is your favorite drink?” so i said “jack and coke” and she looked confused so i said “whiskey and coke”. and she was like, “oooh, i like that too. do you want a drink?” and i was like, “YES!” so she ran to her cup on the stage and brought it back to me and then handed me the cup and i took a swig of it and gave it back to her. (it was cider, by the way.) annnnnyway, they played reggae all night and then said goodnight. so we were all yelling and i was screaming “loooooveeefooxxxxxx!” and she looked at us and mouthed “don’t worry, we’ll be right back.” hahaha. love her.
so they came back out for the encore and she was like, “this song is for matthew and his friends!” YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! holy fuck, amazing. so they played a new song and then went into lets make love and ended with alala. druing lets make love she ripped her playlist off of the floor, wadded it up and handed it to me. and then she went and grabbed the guitarists playlist and gave it to brian. and then during alala she got the bassists playlist and gave it to chris. so then they were saying goodnight and chris and brian were screaming “lollapaloza! we’ll see you tomorrow!” and she looked really happy. so now i should probably go to lolla and rekindle my romance with her.
