Cynical Nights
Ever have a moment where you're just feeling sinister, cynical, and just downright awesome? Yeah, I'm feeling that right now. Like I could do so much more than just taking candy from a baby. Try picking it up from the stroller by it's foot and dumping it in the mud? Dude. That's eeeeeeeeeeeevil!
But seriously, I'm in this bad-mood-turned-delight kind of funk. It's creepy but cool at the same time. The cure is a good night's rest, so I'm getting that now.
Oh yeah, and what I did today: After class, drove around doing important things. I then went to Best Buy to return my defective camera, but they didn't have a replacement in stock. SNARL . They get it in tomorrow, so I have to make a 2nd trip. Ick.
It becomes harder and harder to leave Best Buy without buying something. Now that I have a job (and spending money) I look at TVs and think, "I could just pick this up, pay for it, and walk home with it right now." And the fact that I don't is a great exercise in both self-restraint and awesomeness. Hell, walking out of the store without buying even gum at the register is such an awesome feeling! FUCK YOU, CORPORATE AMERICA!
[UPDATE] I rather like writing in this rather spastic tone. I think I'm going to adopt it more often. Like it? TOO DAMN BAD you get it anyways! =D
