Furry Art Grad Card + Printing at Work

Jun 02, 2008 22:31

So I promised to show the lil test art I made with those Copic markers, so here it is. But first, today's news. At work, we re-arranged the workplace and took a break for Domino's pizza supplied by 'da boss Terry. Had a nice chat during that. Also, my first wave of posters were printed, and I had the opportunity to learn how to professionally cut them to size and spray-adhere them to foam-core board - nice to know that! I'll show a photo of them hanging up later.

As for the art, here's the story. Got my lil bro a grad card - a Close to Home comic one. I love that comic - it's like The Far Side (but not quite as classic). And this one had an insert that sealed the deal. I then added a quickie sketch and practiced coloring it. I only had 15 minutes to do it, so with my little experience I'm glad it turned out as it did with that rush job!! It's me, updated with my shorter hair and new pendent. Same shirt and peppy expression though!
