heh.
Okay so I haven't written in a really really long time.. so maybe it's been a month or something, eh whatev. Okay well here's the update with school: Classes are going alright, I had three tests this week... Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. *sigh* it was a tough couple of days to have to try and live through, just because there was so much going on with all of that. I'm not in the Wind Ensemble this semester, but hey that's life and in the real world you don't always get everything that you want (it's just RF, there are a lot of people in the department and everything but there's still a better chance, aww you know what I mean) I'm in Jazz Two this semester!!! I'm so psyched I love that class soooo much! It's my first time EVER in a jazz band! :) We're playing Benny Carter music and it's awesome! Playing tenor is fun and everything, I even get to play a little duet thing with the first tenor player Katie. She could play a little louder but hey it's all good. I miss all of my music friends in the Wind Ensemble though, that's the worst part about not being in it... I mean that's one of the only times I actually get to see most of those people during the week and now that it's not a part of my life I never see them and don't even feel like I'm a part of the department. I don't miss the drama, that's sometihng I can live without for sure!
I've been hanging out with a great group of friends this year (not that the friends that I hungout with before this year were bad or anything). It has been great living in McMillan, I love my roomie and how close it is to stuff. It takes two - five minutes to get to class instead of ten. I love it! The newbies that I've met in the music department this year are great too! Amanda, Nate, Tristan, Brandon, and whoever else I met that I found to be really cool.. there are still a bunch of people I don't know yet :\ I have a concert on Saturday... I'm excited about that.. man I love jazz!! Okay well I can't exactly think of anything else that I would need to write about right now.. so I'm going to get going.. hope everyone is having a great weekend. If you still write on LJ comment.. I mean it doesn't seem like anyone does anymore.. Lauren and I have been talking about that on aim lol.
