Quickie
Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm pretty much settled here in the 'burbs of Philly. There's still the pesky must-find-job-now business, but I have some good prospects. Gotta get something soon, bills are about to be due. And then there's always, well, rent.
There have been some slight issues in the apartment, but nothing major...yet (crosses fingers). But incredibly YAY! news ...our first electricity bill came in...it was a whopping $10...with $6 of that being initial fees...wow. Just wow.
My phone bill is a different story...Don't call my number. As most of you know, Bren got a new number. And I'm usually online if you need me. I can call out from my computer, yadda yadda. I will let you know as soon as I can when I can call, just don't hold your breath as it might be a while.
Life is pretty good so far. I am anxious about winter, but we'll see how I deal when it comes. First, fall. There are actually cold fronts up here which do indeed drop the temperature. *gasp* I'm told that this thing called fall starts this month so I shall take pics when that happens.
Speaking of pics, I've been posting Philly pics to Facebook and Myspace. I think my last post on here had some as well, but there's more from a second trip downtown on the other sites.
