I have to be honest, I was hoping for something that went a little more in depth, discussing the actual history and dynamics of the pairing. More similar to the manifestos on ship_manifesto.
But this was very cute, and I'm sure I'll enjoy all the recs you gave. So thank you for all the work that you put into it. :)
Hm, yeah. But, for me anyway, there are already a whole bunch of primers/manifestos/etc like that? I would have just been repeating what has already been said a billion times. I wanted to do something a little different and fun. :)
Ah, okay. Yeah, that makes sense. I see where you are coming from.
The thing is, they're not my otp by any means. So I've probably missed a lot of those. The thing that made me excited about this community was the idea that I could learn more about the pairings I'm not as familiar with and why it's such an awesome idea to ship them from the perspective of someone who really considers it their otp. This just seems more geared towards the people who already know and love it.
But that's cool too. I didn't mean to rain on your parade or anything. Kudos for the originality. :)
No, dude, you make a good point, too. I might go dig through delicious and add some links for primers that are more "this is their history!" to the post for people like you were hoping for something more along those lines.
