Mountie!Gerard, on the trail of his grandmother's killer, follows the trail south to New Jersey, where he meets Frank, a NJ cop w was given the case. At first he doesn't really care for Gerard, but gradually, Gerard's "Saving Lives" schtick rubs off on him and they become close friends. You know, so on and so forth!
