Storytime Sunday: My Favorite Stories
I had all these great ideas for my post today, but I ended up just saying, "You know? It's Storytime Sunday, there should be fic recs."
And then I thought about doing some themed recs, and then my themes I only had like three recs for each theme, and then I thought about doing character-themed recs (which I'll do next week!) but then I thought I should just gush over my favorite stories, instead.

I'm starting with this one because it is my favorite Brendon characterization. It's both heartbreaking and exciting to see Brendon grow up and grow away from his family, to watch him try to spread his wings and be something he's never been before.
Okay, and to be completely honest? Human-shaped hyper puppy Brendon is fun and adorable and all, but that characterization starts to grate on my nerves after it's been done eleventy thousand times. There are definite exceptions to that, but overall, I'm extremely happy that people also write Brendon as a layered and complex individual.

(TAI/PATD, various pairings)
Ryan Ross is a groupie stealer! William Beckett doesn't like that at all. There is a feud! It's absolutely hilarious and I love love love witty/funny dialogue and this fic is absolutely filled with it.

I love this fic because it's complicated and sweet and amazing, okay? There are all these feelings all wrapped up and curled around each other and it's just glorious. I don't think there's any character in here I didn't absolutely love; everyone is written so well.

(MCR AU, Frank/Gerard, Pete/Mikey)
High School, I'm Not Okay AU. This is the HS AU. I've read a lot (alotalotalot) of stories where characters are in high school, but this is the best I've ever read. It's my faaaaavorite. The boys are such loser fuckup dorks and I just adore that. The characterizations are really strong and the writing is so solid and the story is wonderful and and ... *gushes*

This is mpreg. This is my favorite mpreg ever. The Pete characterization just shines and I may have teared up a little once or twice. Just a little. Really, a little wetness around the eyes, nothing to be ashamed of. It's not like I was bawling over the wonderful amazing fantasticness of this fic or anything.
I would suggest you check this out even if you're one of those mind-boggling 'eww, mpreg' people. It's just that good!

*glee* This is probably my favorite fic right now. Because it's Bob/Mikey and it works so beautifully and it's BOB/MIKEY and just ... *happy sigh*
I'm currently writing a long Bob/Mikey fic because I read this story and fell so far in love with this pairing I can't stand it. It's so quiet and caring and OMG BOB BRYAR. (I might have a tiny thing for Bob. Really, it's hardly noticeable at all.)

...and now I want to make a huge recs post all about BOB BRYAR OMG but I'll hold off on that one because I'll end up gushing all over the place and I should just save all that gush, you know? It's a lot of gush. You should be prepared. I'm warning you now, so you have a whole week to prepare yourself for the avalanche of absolute BOB BRYAR OMG GUSH. Okay? Okay. \o/
