It's been at least three or four years since I first heard MCS, and I loved them right away. I feel a certain rapport with the band (except Josh, you're right), especially considering I'm an old lady, too. I also have a crush on Tony Thaxton that could rival yours on Matt. I wish I could find out more stuff about him (is that too creepy?). Thanks SO much for this- very thorough and well done!
HOTDAMN. I don't have the DVD! Must see it. Whenever I see pictures of the handsome Tony Sunshine, I want to nuzzle his beard. I think I have a problem. Thank you again, though- if you hadn't said anything about the DVD, I would never have known to look it up online for purchase! *highfives*
I hear you on the nervousness, too. When I met Chris Carraba of Dashboard, etc. I actually blurted out "This is one of the most important moments of my life!" He laughed and was gracious, though. And he let me touch his arms when I told him I loved his sleeves. All of my band-meeting experiences have been good so far- I find they're usually touched and really gracious with their diehard fans, even if they're exhausted. Good luck, and I can't wait to hear all about it.
Eh, by "many" I of course meant "man", so no worries. ;) And I bought the DVD as merch at a show and didn't watch it for, like, a YEAR. IT IS SO ADORABLE, NO LIE. They bring their fans hot cocoa!!
