Do we all live on our own little quest for happiness? Maybe its not really a personal little quest but a quest that you can share with many. We meet some along the way that have similar ideas of what light lies at the end of the dark tunnel and have nice travelling companions to accompany us on our search. Some people's idea of happiness might be another person's idea of misery and they both have quarrels over it. Do we jeer and make fun of those who do things differently? Would we go so far to even make war with them? the Taliban regime is one thought that comes to mind. Another can be the past wars between capitalist and communist states.

Some might not have any idea where they are going and they go in circles or chase after temporary joys and comforts. Not knowing what happiness to pursue, they know what miseries to steer clear of, or at least as long as they aren't personally the ones suffering for their actions.

I'd ramble on more, but I have things to do. Seems like the grass is always greener than the other side than the one that you are looking.
