These are a few of my favorite things....about Christmas Break
So I tried to update last nite and when I had everything typed out and clicked the UPDATE button, my internet messed up...so let's try this again with a more simplistic version.
- I got caught sneaking out on my first nite home. I went over to Sara's and accidentally fell asleep till 5 AM where I found that my parents had called me several times and left a message saying "It's 3 'o clock in the morning, where the HELL are you?!?!" I wasn't in trouble tho, b/c my parents told me they weren't going to ground an 18 yr. old.
- LT and Kyle came with me to meet and eat with Jade and her new BF. Cool guy, he payed for everyones food at that nasty Perkins in N. Chas. Another nite we went to the movies and saw Dick and Jane. Funny, but not as funny as it could be.
- Amber and I got to hang out for the first time since summer. We went to our hotspot (McDonalds) where you used to be able to find us several times after school eating Hot Fudge Sundaes...MMMM. We caught up on a lot of things so that was good.
- One nite, Kyle, LT, Amber, and I were riding around Tanner Plantation. We took pictures of the infamous neighborhood "Sweet _ _ass at Tanner Plantation". Whoever took off the G and R were pure genius! Kyle opened his sunroof while Amber and I took turns standing up through it while Kyle hit almost 100 MPH on the long road. LOL. Lot's of fun. We then found a dirt road that led into the woods, but dared not go too far as the road became muddy.
- Kyle and I went and saw King Kong. There's mixed reviews, but I give it a thumbs up. Kyle was trying to holla at this girl. Didn't exactly work. I hope she didn't think we were stalkers when we followed her car out of Summerville and drove by and waved.....
- One Friday, LT decided to have a movie nite. It was Amber, Maurice, Nikki, Kyle, LT, Tarah, VyVy, Morgan, and me. Although certain people weren't really paying attention ot the movie, so we decided to take a little trip downtown around 11 PM. Amber took us to this graveyard down where Spruill runs into downtown. The big one was closed, so we rode through the little one once...b/c Morgan started crying. LOL. LYLAS. Then we went to Waterfromt Park and went down on the pier. There were three black people talking about Jesus and God. The lady started shuffling and shouting out "Hallayloooyah...Thank ya Jesus!" LOL. We went on the swings where we were being loud (and probably ruining all the couples nites who were on the other swings) until a police officer shined a light on us from afar. So we left.
- I was introduced to TABOO. LOL. Sara, Darrion, Melody, and I played it several times. I get so into it! We also played Clue, which is one of my favorite games of all time.
- My parents and I finally had a talk. Everything is officially cleared up and I feel so much better. My relationship with them is steadily returning back to normal..so any previous entries of doubt and despair can now be cancelled.
- Diana came and visited Sara and I. Sara, Darrion, Diana, and I went to an expensive restaurant where all we could afford was an appetizer. It was the best damn appetizer I ever had! Another day we went to the beach. Some guy gave Diana and Sara a sand dollar. Darrion, Diana, and I went walking in the freezing cold water.
- Lunch with Tarah...nuff said seeing as I hardly got to see her as it is. LOL. J/k.
There's pictures that go along with some of these memories, I don't feel like posting them right now. Maybe later? Anywho, school's back in session. All my classes start around 8..but I kinda like that. I have Anthropology with Sara and Diana, Dance Appreciation with Andre, History with Big John, and Sight-singing with Catherine, so that just leaves theory where I'm alone. Today was the 2nd day and tonite we have band practice. I can't wait!
It's hot as hell in my dorm..hell it's kinda hot outside too.
