Devon and I enjoyed a lovely long weekend in Victoria, froufing it up at The Fairmont. I may consider staying elsewhere next time, our room this time was pretty lame for $150/night :P
I'd forgotten the reason why we've been together for so long. We're just so perfect for each other. Granted, we could be a little more adventurous in certain aspects of our lives, but we're one of those sickeningly sweet, "finish each other's sentences" couples. It makes people gag, but we love it.
For the last little while, I'd felt like we'd lost that along the way somewhere. I think I'd gotten so caught up in MY endless summer, that I'd forgotten to let him in on the magic. My bad.
I still want to carry on being poly, that's an emptiness he can't really fill, but I'm really good right now. Coastin', waitin' for someone to catch my eye.
I'm excited to see where this summer's going to take us. Road trips with friends, longboarding, picnics, tandem bikes!
And before I forget, I've got some undercover Disney outfits to plan out; I accidentally challenged myself to have a themed outfit for every day we're in Disney in October. That means I need 7 outfits.
* Workout Winnie The Pooh - Red T-shirt, Tan/brown AA shorts (sew on some honey/bee patches on the bum, maybe "Oh Bother!"), bear ears.
* Hip-Hop Goofy - Black crop denim vest, Orange beater(consider graffiting "Gawrsh" on it), Green bandana/Green baseball cap (sew some felt "teeth" on the bill), blue jean shorts, Chucks
* Tennis club Aristocats - White polo shirt, pink scarf/bow, White pleated miniskirt. Pink tennis shoes.
* Urban-Boho Mad Hatter - Drape-y crocheted vest thingie in mustard, Green dress, Teal bowtie, Maybe throw in a steampunky belt, top off with mini-tophat from Disney
*Urban Ariel - Green jean miniskirt, Purple Bra, Sheer white top, teal sandals. Star fish necklace acquired form Aldo Accessories, Mermaid Tail Burlesque BustleBelt from our performance
