Halloween 2009
Been awhile since I blogged. Nothing much has been going on, I suppose. Halloween was the most fun I had for awhile.
My Lady Gaga outfit for Halloween was top drawer. People get massages to de-stress, I get my make up done. I love to watch the process, and my Joe is the best at it. He's the perfect hair dresser for me. <3 Also, making the Disco stick was disturbingly fun. Really good for my OCD. So satisfying XD
My outfit for Halloween at our campus party was that wedding dress I bought a couple years ago. I put on some pounds since then, and the back wouldn't close properly, even after I squeezed myself into my precious steel-boned, underbust corset. I felt like such a fat cow, but I couldn't not wear that dress to work. I've been waiting to break that gown out for months.
I brought a secondary costume (my LFA uniform), because I was pretty sure I wouldn't make it through the day working in a corset. Lo and behold, I made it until the end of the campus party in the afternoon and I had to get out of it.
This was a great Halloween this year, though. Maybe next year I'll plan my own Halloween party. Peter's party was quite...inspiring.
