No pictures of our new apartment yet, but I will post them eventually. The move went pretty well. A few stresses here and there, and some unforseen costs, but overall, I had some great friends helping me.

Thanks go out to Cody, Kiifu, Lua, Kay, and Dru. And a special thanks goes to Shah for letting us rent his apartment AND leaving the sheesha ^_^

It took a few thousand trips between Kiifu's little hatchback, Dru's little 2-door Pontiac, and a small truck to get everything there, but we did it. Lua and I got to carry our box spring 5 blocks in the rain, because it wouldn't fit in the truck -_- I hope I never have to do that again. It's really quite amazing how much stuff we have. But lo, it all fits comfortably in our new place.

We've been living here for almost a month now! Time went by so quickly. Life here is a dream. Dishwasher, insuite laundry (which, btw, holds WAY more clothes than our old insuite), and an IGA across the street. No more having to shop at crappy, overpriced Choices and Nesters!

Did I mention Scotiabank Theater is right below us? My Scene card will be heavy with points <3

I'm going to miss having Davie Street at our disposal, but I guess it's actually not that far away. Every time I pass by our old apartment building, I miss it a little, only because we lived there for 2, very full of memories, years. I hope we can build even more memories at this new place.

It already feels like home, now that we got all our framed artwork up. We're working on getting poster frames, so we can further decorate. Ikea is crazy cheap for that stuff!

I'm so excited, because Kiifu's family is coming by to visit our apartment, I have a place I'm finally proud to show them. Kathy even gave us another one of those snack trays that goes so well with everything.

Other than that, life's been busy but quiet. Regular visits with Kay, Zaid came over yesterday, and we went on the first tandem bike of the season last weekend. Love tandem biking <3 Our place we rent from says come November, they intend on getting rid of our favourite tandem bike, but they said we could purchase it at that time, for $500 (They normally retail for $1200). I'm thinking about putting a deposit down, to make sure it's ours.

I gave blood for the first time too! It was super fun! and now I have my little blood donor card and I found out I have special blood! Type O! I can save ANYONE! :D Looking forward to May 21st, it's when I can give again!

Looking forward to another shopping trip to the US. This time with Kiifu. Kay will be coming tho! Gotta get some Sonja Kashuk makeup brushes and more F21 clothes.

What a boring post today.
