I'm (not) your basic average girl
Most people ask for money, gift cards, clothes, etc for their birthday. I asked for a new bookcase. AND I GOT IT. My mom's having my brother-in-law pick it up tomorrow and then they're gonna try to put it together. (I told Cub and he kinda shook his head and called me a nerd for being excited over a bookcase. XD)
AND AND AND! My fave radio station (106.5 The End) has been completely awesome to me this week. First, I sent an e-mail to Nate to see if I could go to the needtobreathe Green Room (acoustic performance that they record and play on Sunday nights) since they were there on my birthday. AND HE SAID YES! \o/ So me and a friend from college are going there on Friday.
BUT MORE AWESOME! The End has all sorts of contests to win tickets to concerts... AND I SCORED TWO PASSES TO SEE EVAN'S BLUE ON WEDNESDAY! First, acoustically at the station and then their concert that night. I just need to find someone to drag along with me. XD
And since both mine and one of my coworker's birthdays are this weekend, we (us+other employees) are getting together for dinner/a night of awesomeness at Dave & Buster's. Since I'm turning 21, they want to get me drunk. Something about it being a "rite of passage". XD We'll see about that. I just need to find something cute to wear. :3
