Can anyone make it better? I know that my lj is so that I can vent, but I dont want to sit and ramble on because i KNOW that i what i will do. So I just wanted to know if anyone would listen.....and if anyone can help?

You make a valid argument, but i too know the wonders of dictionary.com. I believe the very first definition listed says, and this is me quoting, 'variant of gray'. Therefore you can indeed use either, but i'm just a little more right than you.
