College rocks my world!
So I havent updated in a while. Here goes...
Went to the Bahamas and may I say that was BEAUTIFUL!! I was just amazed by it's beauty. I think I should go to the Bahamas more often....lol Anyway got back Tuesday night and finished packing.
I moved in to Douglas C a few days earlier than everyone else. It was hot as hell and I am on the top floor with no elevators. The move in wasnt all that bad I guess. Met my roommate. We have completely differet personalities, but it was ok. We talked and got most of our stuff settled but we had to be on a bus at 1 to go on this camping retreat with the honors people. I dont really understand why. We really didnt do anything there that we couldnt do here. Whatever, I guess honors kids are "anti-social" as they say and we needed to meet people before everyone else moved in. The retreat was fun I guess. Nothing major happened....except for getting lost in the woods and my allergies were going crazy. I met a group of kids that are really cool and live on the floor below me, so that was exciting I guess. We spent the night and came back Thursday around 2 in the afternoon. Thursday is the day that everyone else on campus moves in and it was very chaotic. So, Thursday night we all went out to greek row to hit up the parties, it was a lot of fun. Woke up about 8 on Friday because all the freshman had a mandatory welcoming at the convocation center. It was really dumb except the marching band was they practicing and they were really good. After this gay thing at the center we went to Portillo's in Sycamore about 7 minutes away. It was AMAZING!! After Portillo's was naptime. Except we didnt nap becsue there was an announcement made that the internet was up and so all of us went and played on our computers. :) More parties that night and now today I have been running errands all day trying to get ready for this thing called school.....I am so tired ad I think napping sounds good. More stuff tonight and anyone who wants to come visit me needs to call me or something! I would love that....
