If you live in the U.S. (or have a U.S.-based iTunes account, as is my case), you can download the audiobook version of John Hodgman's The Areas of My Expertise for free, by clicking here -- clicking the link will open the page in the iTunes store in your iTunes program. It's abridged, but it's seven hours long, so it's not a freebie sample or anything, it's the real deal.

If you're unfamiliar with John Hodgman, try checking out his blog (or really, check it out whether or not you know who he is). He's been a commentator for NPR, he's on the Daily Show regularly of late, and perhaps most recognizably, he plays PC in those "I'm a Mac, I'm a PC" ads for Apple. He makes up fake history. He is hilarious.
