Well, interesting month so far...
So Howday y'all!! I haven't updated in awhile, so here it goes. Bailz and I moved into our apartment the first weekend of May! Yay!! It took about a good week or so to finally get everything we needed and unpacked and settled. We have cable, obviously internet, and all the other needs in the utilities department. It has been pretty cool living here, but still kinda weird to not be at home for the summer. I have been actively looking for a job so I can afford to live here. I have been called by two of the ones I applied for and hopefully it will all work out with that. I know I said I probably wouldn't work at the Springfield Talbots but that really looks like my best option because I will make a good amount an hour and stuff. Downside is that I will only have that job for a few months because I will be hired as a temp at first. Sucks...but hey it's money.
The guys, Rickey and TZ, are staying with us for May Term. They've been really great with helping around the apartment and Rickey has even cooked for us! It was good! They will be done the 5th of June so then the apartment will have just Bailz and I. Woohoo...it's been kinda nice having others here because everyone else has left for the summer. Some of our other friends are here too but staying in the dorms. So it's been pretty boring in Jacksonville, but at the same time we've found stuff to occupy our time.
Josh is not exactly thrilled that I'm not home for the summer but he's pretty cool about it. He started a new job so he works third shift and so we don't get to talk as much as we used to but maybe that's a good thing, no more high phone bills!!! hahaha...We just talk online alot. I miss him alot and I know he misses me but he will come down here on weekends and when I get the chance I will definitely go home. I have to go see him and my family.
My family is doing ok. My parents are still kinda not liking me living away from home but I guess they will have to get used to it. It's not like they have empty nest syndrome, I mean my sister and nephew live there still. But I am the baby of the family...oh well...They came to visit me yesterday which was cool. We went out to eat Chinese and went to Meijer for some things we needed. My dad was hooking up my internet in my room and cable in my room. We got a TV stand for the apartment too. It looks weird but we like it. My mom is doing ok. The doctor told her that she didn't have to come back for three months so that's good. I'm happy about that. She's been feeling pretty good but has some bad days.
My birthday is in 2 1/2 months!!! You peoople only have that long to shop for my bday present..J/K!! I will be the big 2-1! I'm getting old...Just the other day I was turning like 16 and stuff now the big 2-1!! yay for legal drinking age!! Hahahaha...but yeah it will be a good time!
Well I think I'm gonna lay down for a bit. I'm trying to get over a cold and haven't had much sleep lately! Adios mis amores!! Love ya's!
