It didn't rain.
It's been a long day. First school, from 8-3, then marching band 3:20-5, then section leader meetings and private talk (scary) with mr smith till 6, then work from 6:15 till 9. ugh....
I've been playing trumpet in concert band since school started, and all the freshman trumpet players are hiding behind me. So mr. smith gets sick of it and is like... "Julia, don't play anymore. I want to hear them without you." and they stunk. So, he's like "Ah hah! Ok, Julia, your not playing trumpet anymore in here!" so tomorrow, i start the......tuba. I'm going to be playing tuba. i'm going to get my tongue stuck in a valve or something. oh well.
I am now teaching myself how to play clarinet. i'm so proud. After working for 2 days, i can now play a three octave g scale that sounds pretty good. (ok, so i played clarinet in middle school. it's still been a long time and i never even crossed the break then, so i can say i've only been playing for 2 days.)
I still haven't talked to jared, and it's weird, because i don't care. I don't think my emotion box is working properly. I'll have to get it checked out.
I'm going to order a new trumpet mouthpiece now. weeee!! and drink pepsi. i just now discovered the wonderful taste of pepsi.
