BTW, for those of you who are both on my and trystan830's f-lists, she summed up tonights events quite nicely. I feel no urge to repeat them.

The Bar Mitzvah last Saturday was cool. It was nice seeing the extended family. M's birthday parties last Sunday were a lot of fun. The ice skating party totally rocked. Everyone had fun, and thank you, yumemitai, for being there and helping out. You had evened the adult/kid ratio to a manageable level. LOL

I had wanted to get some work on the outside of the house done, but couldn't since it rained overnight and didn't dry until late in the afternoon. :-(

I went skiing again with my brother today. Surprisingly, all of the trails but one were open, though the snow pack was awfully thin in a few areas -- to the point. The highlight was that I just about took the most advanced trail at Jack Frost at full speed. I slowed down just enough at the crest of each hill so I wouldn't catch air. Took M to the doctors today because her ears have been bothering her for a couple of days. She has another infection in her ears. :-(

She's on antibiotics for the infection. This is the second time this year she's gotten an ear infection. It may be time to figure out the root cause, if there is one.

We brought our kitty home tonight. trystan830 went to the pet store and bought him a little bed (which he slept in for a little while) and a small litter box to put in the bathroom so he didn't have to go downstairs into the basement.... which was the first place he went when he got home, so we know he can handle the stairs for now.
