Whee!!
The Phillies did it again. :-)
They're back ahead of the MuttsMets by a half game, and they're now 3 games up on the Brewers for the wild card with seven games to play. The last weeks of the season is going to be exciting, and I know at least one person **coughyumemitaicough** is happy at the Phils surge/Mets struggles. :-)
Hmmm... The Eagles play against Pittsburgh tomorrow.. and I'm going to miss it. :-( Oh well, I'll be at the NASCAR race instead. :-) I'm heading to my brother's place first, then we'll leave from there.
Whee! I get to drive my ***stiiiiiiiick shiiiiiiift*** for about 150 miles tomorrow. :-)
Hockey season is starting, too. Go Flyers!
The transformation from Box Land to house continues. There's actually just a handful of boxes left. Squeee. Now, we'll have to figure out how to fill the space. I have my eye on a 42" TV to fill up one wall in the family room, and make use of the wires for the surround sound the previous owners left for us. :-), I think two couches (one in the family room, one in the living room)will be in order, as well as area rugs for the rooms. Now of course, the couches won't match the one we have......
Can't go too overboard now. LOL
Oh yeah, we still have to get a cover for The Beast as well. That's still sitting on the floor, unprotected. Soon enough, and that will be done. I also did some work on our yard to try to level the bumps, holes and undulations that litter our yard. While not perfect, the yard is much better now, or at least it will be when the grass seed I laid down today takes root. There is still a big uneven mound on the side of the house and a good sized hole in the backyard. Well, I know where the dirt to fill the hole is going to come from. LOL
That is all... That is enough!
Well, one more thought. trystan830 has repeatedly stated in the past couple of minutes that it's crazy that The Simpsons has been on for 20 years. Amazing. I guess this means that Bart is the oldest 4th grader on the planet. *grin* Now she has also reminded that Big Bird is the oldest kindergartener. LOL
Where I am going with this? I have no idea. This is what happens when a demented mind is let loose at 1:30 in the morning. mmmmuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaahhaahahahahhaahahahaaahhhhhhh
