My sister-in-law, R (
trystan830's brother's wife) is throwing my brother-in-law a surprise birthday party tonight (MH had his 29th birthday yesterday). R needed a reason to get MH out of the house so she can get set up for the party, so
trystan830 and myself participated in the chicanery by asking MH to watch the aliens kids for a few hours this afternoon because we were going to a "non-kid friendly party" at a friends house.
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAAAAA. If MH had an ounce of brains and common sense, he'd know that isn't us! LMAO
We're actually going to spend some time with
yumemitai after going to the library so
trytan830 can pick up a book and a couple of other quick errands. We'll get home about 6:20, MH will leave to head home.... then he's going to not know what hit him when he gets home. :-D
We'll be going to the party a little later. We probably won't stay long since
flowerii and M will be the only kids there and will probably get bored pretty quickly, but it'll be good to see them and spend some time with them. :-)
Tomorrow I'll be going skiing with my brother... I think. I haven't heard boo from him all week, so we'll see. Makes no difference if he's there or not, I'll still enjoy myself. :-)
I didn't realize how close to being burned out I was getting at work. The past three weeks I've worked a lot less hours, and I feel much, much better -- not as ragged and not as tired. :-) I also feel it at work since the past three weeks I haven't felt the urge to be short with the agents when they ask a silly/obvious question. I also think they have also gotten the message I get very irritated when I'm helping one agent, and another one actively tries to ask me a question instead of having the common courtesy to either find someone else who can help or simply state to see them when I'm done.
I do have a good group of agents, but some aren't the brightest bulbs in the box. *shrug*
Oh well, things could be worse.
