Where are my BtVS reruns and NOT passing the CLA
I have to "get my bitch on" so to speak so please feel free to ignore me! Okay for years now my routine in the mornings was to watch BtVS on FX while getting ready for work....even while the show was on the air I did this. (Eventually TNT started running Angel in the mornings as well and so I would switch back and forth between the two depending on what season they were showing)
FX also use to run Buffy at noon or 1:00 so if I came home from lunch I could watch it (while I was in the hospital in labor with Cole I watched Buffy. Can't tell you what episode because I was in mind numbing pain but I watched Buffy) and TNT ran Angel around 4:00 or 5:00 so depending on what time I got home from work I could watch Angel. The first apartment I lived in in NY I didn't have cable but never fear UPN or WB ran Buffy reruns late on Sunday nights and Fox ran Angel reruns on Saturday afternoons. I still got my Buffy/Angel fix plus at that point Buffy had just ended and Angel was still on the air.
Okay so a month or so ago I noticed TNT had taken Angel off in the mornings or at least had moved it to a different time and a couple of weeks ago I am happily watching Buffy season six on FX while getting ready for work and counting down to when OMWF will air and then one morning I turn on the tv and.....Buffy is not on. WTF!?!!? Do they know how many years I have been watching Buffy on FX in the mornings while I get ready for work!?!?
SIGH.....I can't find Buffy anywhere on FX's schedule they have completely taken it off as far as I can see which is very upsetting to me (stupid I know) but I had been watching Buffy on FX for so long, it was a ritual, a habit, a way of life...yes I know I am pathetic. TNT still shows Angel in the mornings just at an earlier time. But I guess what is bothering me is that two shows I loved so much that I could watch everyday, sometimes more then once a day on various channels are becoming "obsolete" if that is even an accurate word to use. It makes me sad!!!
In other news I did not pass the CLA or rather there were two sections I did not pass and that I have to retake. Yippee!! I am happy beyond belief about this and can only hope I pass them the second time or being mortified won't even begin to cover it!
Okay, I will stop bitching and being such a downer now. I'm looking forward to all of the season premieres this week and a few of the new shows like The Bionic Woman and Moonlight. I wish BSG and Lost were going to premiere soon, am very upset/mad about The Dresden Files and want to know if Lifetime is going to renew Blood Ties. I know they are going to start airing new episodes in Oct. but my understanding is those are eps they taped but did not show last season and are just now airing. So the question is are we going to get more Blood Ties or is that it?
I am reading a book by Lynsay Sands called A Bite to Remember (vampire/romance/suspense novels) and I actually like it. Not as good as early Laurell K. Hamilton Anita Blake books (don't even get me started on what that woman has done to the character and books I loved!) but def. a fun, light read for anyone who loves vampires, mystery and romance. Ms. Sands has a different take on vampires and who and what they are but it's interesting.
Finally for any Stephen King fans out there it has been years since I read The Stand and I am not sure I ever finished reading the whole thing but I got caught up watching the miniseries on Scifi this weekend and was really confused because I could not remember what the whole plot/premise was. Any enlightenment would be appreciated. I may have to go back and read the book again.
Hope all my friends are well and enjoying the changing of the seasons (if you get them) Fall is my fav. season I love the cool, crisp weather, fires in the fireplace, the changing colors of the leaves, college football, Halloween (Cole is going to be Tigger and insists I am going to me Mickey Mouse), pumpkins, fall festivals,the fair is here and we are taking Cole on sat, arts and crafts fairs, hay rides and did I say college football?!?!
