Guys and Dolls

This past theatrical run of BEHS has been a thrill ride. Opening up the season with Gods Favorite was awesome. One of the best plays I have ever done. Then Stagemanaging was well, difficult. It was a chore no saine person should ever have to take on. I, stupidly, did. But the show that we did was awesome; minus the fact that we got shafted at competitions, it was amazing. This brings me to the musical. Our production of Guys and Dolls was the best show that I have ever done here. It was better than Fiddler, by a landslide. Our cast was awesome; our director was fun; the script rocked. The show got off to a rocky start. And believe me, the cast had its little quabbles. But the audience LOVED US! All us guys were awesome! I couldn't have asked for a better cast. Gretchen was stellar, and Sara was unbelievable. With Strep-Thorat she went to sing on, and become a BE great, as a Freshman! The road to get to such an amazing performance was a long one, with four hour rehearsals three weeks leading up to the show. However, that just brought those of us that were friends, closer. I couldn't have asked for a better way to end my two year run at BEHS. To all of the cast and crew that read my LJ, THANK YOU. To those who came and saw the show, you know what I'm talking about; to those who didn't come and see the show, you have know idea what you are missing.
